Version 1.03 (October 2009)
- Corrected misspellings and/ or
error messages. (Italian, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Dutch)
Version 1.04 (November 2009)
- Fixed the situation where the
machine can not recognize the Cylinder frame correctly.
- Large-size (Split) Embroidery
Patterns can be rotated over 90 degrees.
Version 1.05 (January 2010)
- Fixed the situation where the
machine may not recognize Tajima (*.dst) embroidery data which is more
than approx.200mm (8 inches) width correctly.
Version 2.00 (November 2010)
- The following new features have
been added with version 2.
- The Link function has been
added.
- The thread numbers for the
displayed pattern from the .pes file imported into the embroidery machine
can be displayed as the thread numbers for the manufacturer specified
from the machine.
- The length of time until the
embroidery machine will stop can be viewed in the embroidering screen.
- If the temporary needle bar
setting has been applied, the icon (
) indicating the selected needle
bar in the embroidering screen can now be viewed.
- Additional characters have been
added to several of the alphabet font patterns ( ).

New Features of PR-650 Version 2
- Changed the stitch generation
to not sew extra stitches when the "space" character is selected
during text embroidery.
- Improved the starting needle
point to 180 degrees when rotating large split designs when imported as
PES data.
- Improved the position of
rotating the pattern 180 degrees when embroidering with a cap frame.
- Improved the data recognition
for *.phc file saved by previous models (PR-600/620 series).
Version 2.01 (December 2010)
- Fixed the situation where an
embroidery pattern may not be saved into the machine's memory, USB media
or computer correctly when using a cap frame.
- Fixed the situation where the
setting to trim threads between characters in alphabet patterns does not
work correctly when the jump stitch trimming is "ON" in the
setting screen.

Version 4.00 (September
2012)
- The pause marks are displayed
where the machine will stop for the appliqué patterns at the thread color
sequence display.
- Improved so that the appliqué
patterns with "APPLIQUE MATERIAL", "APPLIQUE POSITION"
or "APPLIQUE" are assigned to the same needle bar.
- Changed so that The range of
"Appliqué Distance" is between 0.0 mm and 10.0 mm (between
0" and 0.4" ) in the settings screen.

Version 4.01 (January
2013)
- Fixed the situation where the
machine may not cut short jump stitches when "thread trimming"
setting is "ON" in the settings screen.

Version 4.20 (September 2013)
- Fixed the situation where the
embroidery pattern was not rotated 180 degrees if the embroidery frame was
changed from a cap frame to a different type of frame or from a different
type of frame to a cap frame when the machine finished sewing the pattern
using the Link function.
Version 4.21 (December 2013)
- Fixed the situation where the
machine may not work correctly after the error message was displayed by
selecting the appliqué setting.
- Improved so that the embroidery
pattern moves by 0.1 mm when the arrow keys are pressed on the pattern
editing screen.
When you keep pressing the arrow keys, the pattern moves by 5 mm.
Version 4.22 (January 2015)
Please note that this ¡§Service Related¡¨ machine
update (version 4.22 for PR655, 650e and 650) needs only to be installed at a
time of product service at a Brother authorized service center.
Please be sure to note this with your service technician when your machine is
serviced.
Version 4.24 (January 2016)

- Running Stitch uniformity with
frame pattern enlargement.
- Added (ALL CLEAR) key to delete all the specified colors from
the custom thread palette.
